The craft Grupo Faro began with.
Faro Dominicana is the group's founding company: the house of insignia, uniforms, and ceremonial equipment from which the others descend.
Dressing an institution is not making garments: it is translating its hierarchy, its history, and its authority into pieces worn with pride and inspected up close. A poorly finished insignia or a device out of regulation is not a product flaw — it is a disrespect to the person who wears it.
So every commission begins with the standard: the institution's uniform regulations, the correct heraldry of each rank and corps, and the material and finish specifications. From there we produce with per-batch quality control and sustained replacement capacity over time, so that an entire class is dressed alike, today and ten years from now.
We produce at volume for full outfittings and also by commission, for gala pieces, commemorative decorations, and protocol orders that demand handwork.
The craft
We make what gets inspected up close.
High-density embroidery in metallic and polyester thread. Stamping, enameling, and plating in brass, nickel, and gold. Every piece is made to withstand the scrutiny of the person who carries it.
